Manuscript Assessment
One of our content editors will thoroughly read your manuscript and provide an in-depth analysis of its strengths and weaknesses, pointing out unrealistic or forced dialogue, inconsistent character behavior, plot holes, and more. A detailed report will then be provided to you which can be used as a guide when revising your manuscript.
Line Editing
Our line editors can provide additional research, rewrite sections when needed, or generate new content along with making general corrections.
Copy Editing
Our copy editors check your manuscript for grammar, spelling, tense, and punctuation errors. They will also rework sentences for the sake of clarity and comment on continuity errors, but they will not do any major revisions of style or content.
Proofreading
Proofreading usually takes place as a final review, right before the proof is provided to the printer for production, to make certain that no errors occurred during the interior layout process. Our proofreaders will "clean up" overlooked problems with formatting, end-of-line breaks, paragraph and sentence spacing, along with correcting any spelling, punctuation, and typographical errors.
